Although, if you don't feel like preparing your own breakfast, there are many cafes and restaurants less than a 2 min walk away!

We've stayed here a couple of times including our honeymoon and will definitely stay again. Very comfortable rooms, lovely welcoming hosts, excellent service, very close to the beach. Cannot fault it. Highly recommend.

I was really comfortable here. The rooms are clean and staff are very good. Having my own little kitchenette was very much appreciated. Tony and Lisa are most welcoming hosts.

The people who run this guesthouse are wonderful. The room is nice, the beds are comfortable. The accommodation was clean, the dining room was cosy and the breakfast was very good. The location is a 5 minute walk to the city center and a 30 second walk to the beach.

Guesthouse East is great. We've been several times because we love it so much. We go with our toddler and it has everything you could ask for. The rooms we have had have all been big and the beds incredibly comfy. The kitchens are really well stocked which makes it easy to cook or prepare picnics. Highly recommend it.

We stayed as part of our honeymoon at Guesthouse East back in 2009 and had a lovely stay. They were most helpful as we had our little one with us and we watched TV etc downstairs with baby asleep on the monitor which was excellent. It's well located and we were able to park just round the corner (it's almost at the corner!). V friendly, we enjoyed breakfast and ate in the evening there too. Recommended!
