We got a sausage super and I must say that the person was large and the chops were fried perfectly. Not too soggy and not too crispy.
Sausage was well done.
Prices were pretty good for the area, not too expensive.
My only complaint was the price of the curry sauce. £2.05 for curry sauce if a rip off in my opinion.
Other than that...Highly recommend.

Chippy takeaway at its best! Great customer service, food matches the standards! Make sure you have an empty belly, as the portion sizes are great! It's a must stop.

Take out only at the moment and I he food is freshly cooked so expect a wait. That said wide choice including the ubiquitous fried marsbar and quality of the fish and chips is excellent.

Great food, just a little on the pricey side compared to my usual local.

This is the best fish and chip shop in Aviemore in our opinion. We are always here at this time of year and by tradition have a fish supper on the first night. The fish and chips are excellent as are other products sold. Service is functional rather than friendly. Very clean. Produce cooked to order.

Superb chips, very well cooked. Great tasting haddock.
Intriguing options for the visiting vegetarian such as deep fried pizza - which we thoroughly enjoyed.
Friendly service, handled our confusion when ordering very well. 😂
Parking is limited but options expand if walking down Aviemore high street is an option.
Would recommend to anyone looking for a great chippy in the Aviemore area.

Great wee chippy. Consistently delivers and the quality is reliable. Their haggis is better than the usual chippy offerings, I guess that’s because it is happy.
Some recent bad reviews worried me a bit, I was perusing as I waited for my order! However, we were very happy with ours. It was super quiet when I went, maybe that helps.

After a full day of cycling I was really looking forward to nice fish and chips. Chose this place as it seemed busy. Unfortunately it was a complete disappointment. The chips were tasteless and the fish portion was tiny, it was smaller than a kids serving where I'm from in East Yorkshire. The only good thing was the fish cake, and they are bought in, although I was charged £2 for it! So £10.80 for poor quality fish and chips and a fish cake. Never again.

What a horrible takeaway!
We were (probably like a lot of people who go there) in aviemore on holidays and decided to have something to eat. The reviews for that place were OK so gave it a go.
As a result we got crazy overcooked "seafood basket" (can't even call it a basket, prawns were like biscuits and 90% of the box were soggy tasteless chips)
The crispy chicken was also overcooked, dry and horrible. Most of the meal went in bin, didn't feel well after.
The most exciting thing about this meal was deep fried Mars bars which were also disgusting. Will never ever go back and if this review

This was our first stop as soon as we reached Aviemore as we were starving. On a Saturday late afternoon, our group were the only customers. The decor reminded me of an old diner with Applebee's lights (for you Americans).

I decided to share the Breaded Haddock (£10.95) and Haggis (£9.95) with a friend to try a bit of each. Both dishes were served with peas and chips for a hearty and filling meal. This was a pretty good balance as if I had only one entree for a full meal, I would be overwhelmed. I liked the breading on the haddock, which was crunchy and light. The haggis was a bit more

Food quality is good . Had a very good Haddock though there is no other choice of fish . Chips very nice too . However when you factor in quantity , price and service I really have to reduce star awards . The prices were considerably more than I expect to pay for fish and chips , my local shop does the medium cod and chips for a fiver and the quality is as good and the fillet larger and the quantity of chips well over double what the Happy Haggis provides .
