The Grade II listed stone barns have been converted to a high standard without losing the character of the buildings, which are full of original features such as stone walls, exposed wooden beams and roof trusses.

Newhouse Farm Cottages' location in mid-Devon makes it the perfect base from which to explore the whole of the county. With Exmoor National Park to the north and Dartmoor National Park to the south, day trips to enjoy the spectacular scenery, wildlife, tors and falls that these Parks have to offer is a must.

Bellbrook Trout Fishery - located just 15 minutes from Newhouse, Bellbrook is a great fly-fishing and trout fishery.

This is a superb location for a family get away. The kids and adults both absolutely loved it. We had pretty poor weather but there was still loads to do to keep the young ones entertained. Debbie and the team were incredible in regards to giving us info about the booking with the current covid restrictions and couldn’t have done more to make sure our trip happened and followed the correct guidelines. We will definitely be back.

Newhouse exceeded my already high expectations, gorgeous cosy cottage, absolutely immaculate on arrival... probably the cleanest place I've ever stayed. The accommodation was plenty big enough for 4 of us, and had everything we could need for our week there. What better way to unwind, than sitting at the table with a pot of tea, watching the bluetits, bullfinches and woodpeckers on the bird feeder out the window! Bedrooms were big and airy, with lots of room for clothes to be put away.

Having booked to stay here with my family (20 of us all together) during the pandemic. I felt the need to write this review to share my experience of the customer service shown by Debbie and Keith.
The communication from Debbie and the team has been outstanding. We were kept up to date with their policies regarding their worry free reservations, facilities (such as the pool on a private cottage use rota system) and cleaning (an enhanced clean of the cottage and cleaning of garden furniture) which made us feel like they are doing all they can to keep everyone safe.
We postponed from April 2020

Our house move fell through and we needed a place to stay for 2 months. Debbie was friendly and efficient. We stayed in the Linhay which was idyllic and peaceful. The location was perfect and our stay was very pleasant. We would thoroughly recommend Newhouse Farm cottages as a perfect holiday destination.
