Every year we go from strength to strength here at The Blue Pigeons having now hosted over 150 Weddings since we originally opened back in 2013. We've hugely enjoyed being a part of every one of them! The feedback we've received from both the couples and their friends and family has been so overwhelming!

A great evening. The specials board provided us with our main courses. Solid starters and varied dessert selection. My wife and I didn't have a dessert (full up). Good drinks selection - mine was a large house red. Tables had plenty of separation space. Rapid table service. Ample parking. Reasonable prices (£55 for 2). Recommended.

Staff and food lovely but bar restaurant has no atmosphere, only wooden chairs to sit on, no cushioning. Garden rooms face the quad with outdoor seating. Lace curtains are the only cover for the large windows which lookout onto the quad with a table and chairs placed right by the window. Checked and body silhouettes visible when room light is on which made us very uncomfortable. Also absolutely no phone or WiFi signal from rooms.

We celebrated my sisters wedding this weekend and couldn't have asked for more attentive staff, there was nothing they couldn't help with. They were all extremely friendly and made you feel very relaxed. We stayed for 2 nights and our room was amazing and had everything you needed. The food was also extremely tasty, it was also our daughters birthday the last morning we was there and the chef made her a beautiful board with edible writing on it wishing her a happy birthday she was over the moon. Would highly recommend anyone to use this as a wedding venue.

I like the Blue Pigeons, it's a lovely pub and the food is excellent. I would say however, that the green salad that was served with my £20 steak was very poor, a few green leaves, two small pieces of cucumber and one cherry tomato cut in half. The only reason I had the salad was because I didn't want "hand cut chips" which seems to be served with a lot of the main courses. I think chef could have come up with some vegetables and onion rings? Terrible value for money!
