The Hotel de Ville is situated in the heart of Ramsgate, less than a mile from Ramsgate harbour & the beach. Offering a warm welcome, a fine selection of hot & cold drinks, a function room & affordable accommodation. It offers free Wi-Fi and is equipped with 2 bars featuring 5 plasma TV's and a big screen showing many live sporting events.
A light-coloured lager style, it presents full malt character with a balanced clean hop bitterness. Combined with a slightly hoppy, but yeasty/malty nose, Foster's lager is a full bodied beer with excellent drinkability. Velvety in its finish. This iconic beer is defined by harmony. Sip after sip, sweet counters bitter as the malt arrives on cue to complement a base of roasted barley.

The listing stated that this room had Wifi but on arrival we were told that actually, it didn't. Listings need to be accurate or, naturally, people are going to be annoyed they got less than they agreed to.
The window has been left open and so the room was quite cold when we arrived, and the hearting didn't work.
It location was good and it was nice and quiet.
When we were leaving, there was nobody around to give they key to and there hadn't been any checkout instructions.
Overall, a fairly poor experience.

I booked a family room here to make a change from the Travelodge we normally stay at as I thought with them offering free WiFi it would be particularly good for my grandson who has needs and playing on his games helps help him chill out.
There was no WiFi connection in the basement rooms which was frustrating so we took him upstairs to the the bar to play pool but the pool table didn't work either.
Basic room no mirror in room for when your getting ready to go out so that was annoying, all in all if you want somewhere just to sleep and wash its fine you get what you pay for.

Great hotel and we've only been here one night Sunday 22nd august 2021 9:42pm
Our room is downstairs has everything we need, bar staff this morning were amazing massive credit to the blond girl who showed us to our room, Drinks are very cheap not complaining at all.
will definitely recommend hotel de ville to anyone lovely pub it is
So yea lovely hotel lovely pub highly recommend, WIFI reaches room but keeps going off and on dinner should be included in the price we paid You go for a holiday in a hotel and expect food with the price.
But I suppose you get what you pay for

You get what you pay for, cheap, cheerful space in a converted pub basement with freeview TV. En suite facilities but we ran out of hot water after one shower. No space for parking outside either as its just street parking so you're competing with local residents. Had to park up the road and someone keyed my car overnight.
