They couldn't do enough for us, the breakfast was excellent, and the hotel's position meant it was a few minutes walk only, from the shopping or the seafront. We came by car, parking was free and secure.

As well as being only a short walk from shops, restaurants, Bournemouth International Centre and glorious sandy beaches, Blue Palms is also an ideal base for exploring the beautiful counties of Dorset and Hampshire, which include the World Heritage Jurassic Coast and the New Forest National Park. If you are arriving by car, turn off the A338 at the Bournemouth West roundabout into Cambridge Road.

Host and owner Mary was so welcoming and helpful we visited in august with family two rooms got the nice weather and a brilliant deal with Mary decent Victorian type rooms and location not far from every need however uphill walk to the hotel. Close to shops beach etc pleasure visiting and thanks again Mary good meeting you.

Great hotel with excellent service, clean room with good quality bedding，very comfortable bed，delicious breakfast，staff are very friendly and helpful，owner has heart in gold! Great location just 2 minuets walk to the shops and restaurants, 5 minutes walk to beach park, ,BIC. Very lovely place! Thank you very much for the enjoyable stay!! Kevin

We were very disappointed, the room was fine but didn't get cleaned until after 7.30 pm, which was very disappointing we came down to our first breakfast, there was no cutlery on the table, the coffee was cold breakfast was ok, our second morning, we came down at 8.28am, the dining room was deserted ,the tables looked messy, there was nothing out not even milk for breakfast, we looked in the kitchen no one was there we stayed there until 8.45am, we went out for breakfast, we came back at 2 saw The owner, put our complaints and he told us he was there, when he wasn't, we were supposed to be staying

Blue Palms is in an excellent location, easy walking access to the beach and Bornemouth centre. The rooms have everything you need and are spotlessly clean. The parking is a little tight but Jonathan happily helped out. The hosts here are really lovely people and their customer service is excellent! Would visit again.

Four of us booked here for the airshow. We were expecting breakfast available in mornings. Told by the owner ,go to the pub down the road . Breakfast advertised in hotel at £8 but when we got there it was £10 but told to go to the pub . The owner did not want to hire a chef . A bar was also advertised no bar. The place was clean but I think it was being run as a hobby.
