We formed Redbrick Properties in 2002 by a handshake in the Blues Bar in Harrogate after a motivating conference held by Yorkshire Forward for new businesses. Our early formative meetings were usually held in local bars or clubs, and the pinnacle meeting with our accountant in the Stone Trough, Rawdon, where we formulated the company with the signing of the Companies House papers.
It was nearing deadline day to decide a company name, and at the time our provisional name was Urban Edge, but this was missing something. The ambience in the club was perfect for putting forward suggestions, and names were banded about from a Dulux colour chart, including Magnolia! In a moment of genius we realised our name was right in front of us?

QUALITY DROP AFTER START OF TENANCY.
Redbrick properties seemed very helpful and had excellent service while initially looking for houses as new clients. After the contract was agreed and we moved in however, there have been many issues, primarily with communication, but also with property maintenance. Issues have been left unresolved for months.
I cannot recommend Redbrick after our experience.

Harry was very helpful and efficient when helping us find out student house. He answered all the questions we had in the property viewings and walked us through the contract and made it clear to us. Joy was also very helpful when she was taking us on viewings too :)

My friends and I have been looking for a home for our final year of university and honestly, Joy Gray, could not have helped us more! We enquired about this property a few days ago and were able to get a viewing right away. Unlike other agencies I have contacted, Redbrick responded quickly and efficiently. Milo has been very helpful and kept us up to date with any information and kept us in the loop. The property is of a very high standard too and we are super excited to move in!
