Light and airy restaurant, plenty of room, food mostly good (avoid Yorkshire Pudding). Could do with more staff as waiting to be seated was slow and one evening it took almost an hour from arrival to first course being served. Rooms clean and airy with excellent bathrooms. Plenty of parking and great location twixt Town and River.

Absolutely wonderful stay at the hotel and spa. Fantastic service from staff and wonderful spa treatments. Evening meal and breakfast were both 1st class and I can't fault at all. The room was lovely. Full of character. Well equipped and clean and tidy. Our room was part of the old building and was full of character and quirkiness. Perfect stay in the perfect location for town and the riverside

I have been staying here regularly, and previously written a review with various subsequent edits, so I thought it time to start again from fresh.
A pleasant , clean and well run hotel owned by Ashdale Hotels Group , but marketed under the 'Best Western' banner. Staff have always been polite and helpful. Rooms vary in size but are clean and well appointed, Ive been favoured with large ones recently , one had a four poster.
Dinner is a three course affair for £19.95 and two for £16.95. Several choices, and the quality is first class and the food well presented. Last night I went fishy
