Called in to have a snack. Absolutely tasty toasted tuna & cheese sandwiches. Plus we had a cheeky piece of Raspberry & white chocolate cake to share & a pot of tea. We've had a lovely day out riding around the Yorkshire Dale's. Definitely calling again in a couple of weeks time. Thankyou xx😷🌈 Covid safe too 💞

At £90 for one person one night B and B l was expecting something better than a cheerless room with tired furnishings, reached by two flights of stairs . The upper staircase was almost vertical and only partial banister to grasp; rather dangerous, l think.
The husband and wife hosts were very pleasant and accommodating.
The English breakfast was nothing to be excited about despite praise from other patrons.
What is English about that ubiquitous hash brown? As for catering pack beans, tasteless tomato, slippery mushrooms, cooked ? fried? boiled? in an equally tasteless oil…
