Services
In keeping with his ethos of individual service, Julian is the only optician at the practice. Unlike many other opticians, Julian will both will test your eyes, help you choose glasses and personally fit them if you need them. This means Julian really gets to know you, your style and what will suit your lifestyle.
The traditional values of personal service and care for our patients are at the heart of the Julian Berson Opticians approach. Julian cares about the quality of the service and treats everyone as an individual. He strives to come up with the right solution for you, with your interests, not the value of the sale, at the forefront of his mind.
Having almost 30 years experience as an optician and qualified to both test and dispense, which allows me to get to really know my patients and recommend the best solution for you. As an independent practitioner, based in North Leeds, I am able to choose from a huge range of lenses depending on the patient's needs.
AN OPTICIAN'S extra efforts to care for people with learning disabilities have been recognised. Julian Berson was named Optician of the Year in the YEP Best of Health Awards. The category, sponsored by Sovereign Health Care, aimed to find the region's top eye expert. The winner was Julian, who runs Julian Berson Opticians located in Roundhay, North Leeds, who was said to have a "lovely manner" when looking after people with learning disabilities.
Julian is an outstanding optometrist who provides personal and individualised eye care for all his patients (including myself!). My whole family and I have been going to see Julian for many years. He is extremely proficient in optometry. I think that Julian Bersons Opticians is a very friendly, professional and welcoming business and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Terrible experience. My son is only 5 years old and needs his first glasses due to sight reduced. Went to Julian Berson first time, had his eyes checked and told him we were also waiting for the nhs checkup. Mr Berson suggested we could have a glasses with him while waiting for the nhs appointment. We wasn't sure when the appoint so went to jb the second time to get the kid a glasses. All okay until we received the glasses, my son felt very uncomfortable with prescription and also the frame. Phoned them again to see if they can adjust it. The whole thing then just turned to a big joke. Mr Berson
