To start with, we've updated our practices to give a modern, clean and contemporary environment. We've updated our equipment to Keeler (UK) and CIOM (Italy). We've also brought-in some fantastic new brands; Ray-Ban, Emporio Armani, Radley and some exclusives to independent opticians. By teaming up with state-of the-art optical labs, we can supply both quality core value products and elite lenses.
Having purchased glasses from another opticians I found I was no happy with them and wanted a second opinion. I went to Goldwyn in Armley Town Street and saw Stacey. I told her what the problem was and on examining the glasses she saw that they had not been fitted correctly and corrected the problem.
Your eyes are precious and so they deserve the best clinical care. Our experienced optometrists will take their time, carrying out a numbers of tests, to carefully examine your eyes. Our eye examination take around 30 minutes for routine visits and longer for more complex cases. We start by taking a comprehensive symptoms and history to establish the main reasons for visit and identify areas that may warrant additional investigation.
We often see children who have been referred by school staff, support workers or parents who have noticed a sight problem. Some children with vision problems can be misdiagnosed with Attention Deficit Disorders (ADD or ADHD), learning disabilities, dyslexia or in some cases put down to lack of motivation or laziness.

Visited Armley branch for the first time. I have never had such thorough eye test. Mohammed answered all my questions and advised me what to do to make sure my eyes stay healthy. This has been my greatest experience at an optician so far, I absolutely loved it. I would highly recommend it to others. I went in a few days ago for an eye test and met Mohammed and Ali who were so polite and always happy to help. They took their time to provide me with the top service and were also very pleasant and helpful. I would certainly be visiting again in the future.
