With over 65 years of childcare and education experience between us, we decided to set up a family of nurseries that parents could trust. We're parents ourselves so we know how important it is for families to know their children are being cared for in a safe, positive environment.
One where they can play outdoors and eat nutritious food under the care of experienced staff who have been carefully chosen for their kindness, professionalism and passion for childcare.Over the years our family has grown larger and we now provide nursery care across the North West, Yorkshire and South West.

Just Childcare is a family-run group that was set up to give families in the North West access to exceptional nurseries they could trust. Since then, we've grown from just 7 nurseries in Lancashire and Derbyshire, to over 60 settings spread across the North West, Yorkshire and South West. Despite our size, we're still very much a family orientated group.
Every single thing we do is geared towards supporting the children in our care and achieving our mission: to nurture, inspire and have fun every day!. We nurture our children in a million little ways; from providing a safe and loving environment, to feeding them nutritious homemade food.
With cuddles, support and a positive approach to care and education, we're constantly working to provide our little ones with a nurturing environment where they can thrive.Nurturing at nursery comes in so many forms, from the day-to-day care of nappy changes to wiping away tired tears and turning them into a fit of the giggles.

My little boy absolutely loves Whalley Meadows! The girls are wonderful with him and the atmosphere is always warm and caring. I look forward to receiving the daily report on what he has enjoyed doing, and the Learning Book is a great way to see where he is up to in his development stages. The food sounds fantastic too- he has always eaten everything he has been given!
Leaving your child at nursery for the first time can be such an emotional time. The thought of leaving your little one in a new place with unfamiliar people can be truly heart-wrenching. We completely understand what a big step this is for you as a family. It's easy to forget at times like these that your child is actually at the start of a very exciting journey.

Firstly the girls are amazing. But very poor management. They have a horrible "supporting manger called Jamie" that seems to come and go as she pleases. Whom likes to speak to parents in a derogative manner. Recently closers last minute which is a nightmare. My child has been in 3 or 4 days this month which is not acceptable. I understand staff shortages but better communication comes from above. Management needs to take a look in the mirror as to why staff are leaving. Staff don't just up and leave so it's obviously issues with inept management. Food was freshly made but seems to no longer be

Just Childcare acquired the nursery that both my children have been at since they were babies. My eldest has already left, but my youngest had a year left. We were told nothing would change, but from our perspective EVERYTHING has changed. We’ve now pulled our child from the nursery as it’s so horrifically bad. Almost every member of original staff has left, due to Just childcare’s incompetence as a company. If you want to keep wonderful staff, you have to treat them well, this was certainly not the case. Also, blaming the previous owner for your own incompetence as a company is outrageous

Please do not send your children to any nursery of this company, money orientated, head office are cold and not helpful.
How they continue to operate on limited staff and agency workers is unbelievable I believe when inspections are in place then suddenly they cover up.
I was so concerned about my child and the staff employed who were scared.

We've just removed our child from a nursery run by Just Childcare due to a poorly managed incident in which our baby became ill with heat exhaustion during the recent heatwave (summer 2018). Just Childcare handled this incident extremely poorly and unprofessionally, ultimately denying any responsibility for our child becoming unwell during their care and astonishingly even going so far as to outright deny the doctor's medical diagnosis of heat illness (the regional manager who gave this 'medical diagnosis' has no medical qualifications and made the diagnosis from CCTV footage).

No end of headaches since sending my children to one of their nurseries. They seem incapable of calculating a correct bill and only seem to understand where they have gone wrong after it has been painstakingly spelled out to them.
Icing on the cake today was being refused childcare which was needed as a result of a bad fall and ligament damage to my ankle. Apparently this was refused due to arrears on the account. These arrears were due to yet another miscalculation and have since been removed. However, even though we are now not in arrears I apparently can't book further days until payment in
