Services
I am the Client Relations Assistant here at Simpson Physiotherapy, I wanted to take the opportunity to introduce myself (Hello!) and tell you a little bit about me. I have worked in a few service industries over the years, from Health and Fitness to Catering. I have always loved being able to support people to achieve their fitness goals and know just how important this support can be.
We help older adults stay independent and able to look after themselves in their own home. When pain and problems with your balance and falls affect your confidence, your independence and your ability to get about, it's tempting to think "it'll go away if I just rest" or even pretend like it never happened.
I am a Chartered Physiotherapist who specialises in working with Older Adults and Adults affected by Neurological conditions (Neuro-physiotherapist). I have been practising for over 10 years and absolutely love my 'job'. The people I work with really make my day great. I will give you an example. I have been working with a client who was bed-bound in a care home.
I have been receiving treatment from Simpson Physio for a few months now. My problems were with walking, managing stairs, balance, and shortness with my left leg. With exercises from Simpson Physio and suggesting insoles I am now doing a lot better with walking and stairs. I would also so recommend Simpson Physio home appointments as it makes things more relaxed in your own home.
Are you worried about how your symptoms are progressing and medications seem to be the only way to manage your symptoms. Are you fearful or anxious about what the future will look like as your symptoms progress and you start to lose your independence?. Are you frustrated that you are not getting the support you need to exercise the right way and keep your independence keep the next one as is?

Excellent service - knowledgeable, compassionate and flexible.
Fraser Simpson and other physios in his team, worked with my father, who has a Parkinson's Plus condition, for around a year, between lockdown easing in 2020 and my father going into residential and nursing care in 2021. I am convinced that the work done by the physios with my father allowed him to continue to live at home for that time and that he would have had to go into a care home sooner without it. Fraser and his team take time to get to know people as individuals and ensure they use this to make the sessions and follow up exercises

I have been using the services of Simpson Physiotherapy for the last 2 years for different conditions which were treated successfully. Most recently was following a bad fall which resulted in dizziness and balance problems which was correctly identified as a whiplash injury. I have progressed from requiring support when walking to walking unaided and regained my confidence thanks to their excellent treatment.

I have been suffering badly from neuropathy following chemotherapy treatment and have been very debilitated, almost immobile. Since working with Fraser for approx two months , my condition has improved immeasurably, so much so that I’m now able to get around unaided and get up and downstairs. I would highly recommend Fraser as he is an excellent practitioner as well as a very caring person .

I have been attended by Fraser Simpson for approximately nine months. Initially, following spinal invasion of a metastasis from prostate cancer, I was confined to a wheel chair and only able to walk a few steps. Nine months later, I can walk without assistance for distances up to three or four miles and I am sure that is in no small way due to his care and recommendations of appropriate exercises. Fraser is a thoroughly competent practitioner, knows the underlying physiology and anatomy very well and makes excellent diagnoses of cause when given the symptoms. In addition, he is a delightful person

L met Fraser about 2 years ago. l was in a care home recovering from a brain injury. l had been in bed for the best part of 2 years. l had contractures in my ankles, knees and pelvis. Encouraged by Fraser l began to mobalise. lt was gradual, painful at times.however l am now independant in my own home. Fraser's knowledge of brain injury made my journey possible.
