The human body is designed to move. However, there are occasions where the body can react to the demands we place on it and we can feel pain and begin to struggle with everyday tasks. Pain can be debilitating and can affect our ability to work as well as affecting our sleep, concentration and overall mood.

Physiotherapists help people affected by injury, illness or disability through movement and exercise, manual therapy, education and advice. They maintain health for people of all ages, helping patients to manage pain and prevent disease. The profession helps to encourage development and facilitate recovery, enabling people to stay in work while helping them to remain independent for as long as possible.
The benefits of exercise are well known but exercise and participation in sport can sometimes lead to an injury. Injuries can be divided into acute injuries or overuse injuries. An acute injury may occur following a direct blow, from falling over or from direct contact with another player. Examples of acute injuries are muscle tears, sprained ligaments or fractures/ broken bones.
Lisa has helped me to recover from various rugby injuries over the years. At the beginning of my career, I was struggling with an injury and had doubts as to whether I would be able to play professional rugby, but Lisa worked tirelessly to get me back to full fitness and got me back on the pitch as soon as was possible.

Now if your only idea of massage involves relaxation, candles, incense and generally treating yourself...think again! This place does SPORTS massage, and the only relaxation you'll do is once it's over. Rought and Hard...just the way you want it.
I had been having a muscular/nerve type problem with shoulder which wasn't going away, so after a month of painkillers I decided to seek out some help...which came in the form of Karen at Physiologix. She advised I only booked in for a 30 mins session, beeing a newbie and never having had any type of massage before. Good advice!

This is a fairly large physiotherapy and sports injury and massage centre. They offer specialist sports services such as massage, nutritional information and injury treatment, especially back, neck and podiatry related issues. Podiatry, just in case you might need to google it as I did, turns out to be a branch of medicine devoted to the study, diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the foot, ankle and lower leg.
The above, is something which, as far as I know, is not offered elsewhere in the local vicinity. I discovered this, and indeed the centre itself, while investigating some massage gift
