Services
With our focus firmly on good quality ingredients, our food is freshly prepared and served with a genuine wish for your enjoyment. On our menu you will find homemade soups and breads, petit pains and salads, a selection of bruschetta and platters (complemented by our homemade coleslaw and salads and finished with our own recipe dressing), and a much loved favourite 'Marks Toasted Cheese' - with or without the home cooked ham.
From large items such as sofas, chests of drawers and even kitchen island units, beautiful lamps, rugs, throws and bedspreads to Brixton Pottery and elegant photo frames - there is something for every occasion from home furnishing to giftware. Handmade soaps and luxury toiletries can be found along with a beautiful range of cards and giftwrap - all a little less ordinary.
Our wonderful wines have been hand selected (after much tasting, tasting and re-tasting - it's a hard job but Mark & Sylvi take it on without a fuss or fight.) Some of the vineyards we deal with produce their own olive oil - we can confidently say that we now import some of the finest, first cold pressed olive oils.
Our little restaurant has a unique ambiance and warmth to it - why not use it for an intimate function such as a Cheese & Wine Evening or a Buffet Evening, for special occasions such as an Anniversary party or even a 'Work Night Out'?
Our homemade pate, meat or fish platters, coleslaw and various salads are all available in larger take away portions (for those relaxed suppers with friends, leaving you with the job of welcoming your guests in - let's face it, we all love to get creative in the kitchen, but once in a while it's also lovely to let someone else).

What a ool wee place this is, lots of funky crafts for sale and some really nice food.
The service was very good, we wanted 2 sparkling waters, they worked out 1 large bottle was better value, so supplied that instead.
I had soup and a tuna sandwich, the portions were generous and tasted great.
for food in Aboyne, the Blackface sheep it well worth checking out

Very good food, friendly staff, reasonable prices (excellent Italian red wine at a good price - but please leave some for us. We went in for tea and cake and came out clutching a bottle of beautiful red wine!!) and dog friendly. Will take pics and post when we go back - as we shall!! Well worth a visit.
