Temporarily, our surgery opening hours Monday - Friday will be 9:00am - 5:30pm and 9:00am - 11:00am on Saturday. Services
Jane and David Feneley set up Summerhill Veterinary Centre at its present site in 1993. Since then it has grown from a one-vet to a six-vet practice, with Lucy Rivett becoming a partner in 2008. The practice joined the Independent Vet Care group in 2018, with Jane and Lucy continuing as clinical directors.
Our vets and nurses have a wide range of knowledge and skills, which along with our extensive equipment and facilities means we are able to offer you and your pet complete veterinary care. We constantly reinvest in staff training and new equipment to ensure the practice is up to date. Whether you just need us for routine vaccination or for emergency care (and everything in between) we strive to offer a friendly but professional service.
We have two large rooms for vet consultations. They contain all the necessary equipment for examining your pet, be it for a routine vaccination or when your pet is unwell. This new room is used for laser treatment, acupuncture, massage or physiotherapy sessions. It also doubles up as an additional consulting room at busy times.
We believe that nutrition is an important part of keeping pets healthy and can also play a vital part in the treatment of some illnesses. This is why we stock a select range of cat and dog pet food in practice, helping to take the faff out of pet food for our clients by recommending diets that have been scientifically created to provide optimal nutrition, which tastes great!
If your insurer asks you to complete your claim online, what we need from you will be greatly simplified. Please note the process may differ between insurers. Attach the clinical history, along with a copy of any payments you've made (you do not have to keep any receipts). Please note the processing of direct claims is discretionary and based on the relationship between the insurer and the clinic.

The staff are friendly, helpful, polite and always able to offer advice and share their knowledge and experience both over the phone and in person. I feel like this isn't a vets that is out to take your money, but that they genuinely do care about all of the animals and their owners that come through their doors. Prices are good, the level of care and service provided is second to none. Would definitely recommend as a brilliant vets to register with for Fakenham.

Positive: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness, Value
We were on holiday in Wells and needed a vet as our dog had a skin irritation. The local vet couldn’t see us for 5 days but we got an appointment the same morning and the vet was excellent. She was kind efficient and sorted the necessary treatment immediately. A huge thank you to the team at Sunnyhill vets you are brilliant.
