Dating back to the Jacobite era, the Arisaig Hotel was originally built as a coaching inn and almost three hundred years on, the hotel is still open for business offering travellers the perfect base to recharge, reconnect and escape to a true west-coast Highland wilderness. Experience one of Arisaig's world renowned sunsets dipping behind the Small Isles and Skye. After dark, enjoy a taste of Arisaig in the Crofter's Rest, where locally sourced food is served and musicians from near and far will have guests dancing until dawn.

The Arisaig Hotel is the perfect place to refuel when passing through or staying in the village. Our fantastic kitchen team serve up a great selection of dishes using fresh and locally sourced ingredients to satisfy every palate, from belly busting breakfasts and relaxed pub classics to tasty vegan offerings and seafood extravaganzas!
Whether you're living, holidaying or simply passing through Arisaig, a trip to the Crofter's Rest at Arisaig Hotel should definitely be on your agenda. The Crofter's Rest is a great example of a busy west Highland pub, where locals and tourists alike enjoy excellent locally sourced food as well as incredible live music sessions.
Every Tuesday night from 6pm the Crofter's Rest hosts an open music session led by legendary Tam the Banjo and an ever-changing group of professional musicians. The session is fast-paced and the crowd are actively encouraged to grab an instrument off the wall or bring their own along and start playing.
Although Arisaig is tucked away amidst some of Scotland's most incredible wilderness, there's more going on in the area than you might imagine! So if you're looking to visit Arisaig, but you're slightly concerned that there's only hill walking, island hopping and wildlife watching to be enjoyed, think again!
Walking in and around Arisaig is an absolute treat for the feet! Whether you're looking for a gentle, after-dinner stroll around beautiful Larachmhor Gardens or fancy climbing to the top of one of the area's innumerable mountains, Arisaig makes for the perfect base for walking enthusiasts.
