Services
We thought you might want to meet the people who spend most of their days with your little ones. Before becoming a mum I worked as a nursery teacher and then as a teacher in a children's centre. I love watching children explore their environment and develop their own learning style. I believe that the role of the adult is integral to this and it is a privilege to play my part.
The Little Green Frog Nursery is a family run nursery and has been for over ten years. We believe that strong family values and links with the Otley community make this an ideal choice for your child because. Simple involvement with their own community helps to develop a sense of self and belonging in children.
While they are with us they will be engaging with other children and adults, having fun and developing as individuals. When you arrive to take your child home they will be fed, rested and cheerful, having spent an enjoyable day with us. To ensure a smooth start at our nursery we invite you to come with your child to spend time together in the nursery to get to know the new surroundings.
Much of children's play is exploration and experimentation and it is through this exploration of the world around them that children learn. With loving support your child will be guided to develop the skills that they need to be successful in life: high self-esteem, creative thinking, problem solving, resilience, communication and social skills.
Nursery Education Grant funding is available to all children from the term after their third birthday and gives each child funding for up to fifteen hours of free education a week, during term time. Call us for details. We provide wrap-around care for children attending Ashfield Early Years Unit or you can choose to have your child's grant funded nursery education provided at The Little Green Frog Nursery.

I absolutely love the little green frog. The staff are amazing and so friendly, the building is custom built to suit the children's needs and my little boy loves that he has the freedom to access anything he likes.
I have a deaf son who is using cochlear implants and the staff have gone out of their way to meet his needs, they go above and beyond.

Both of my children have attended The Little Green Frog, they loved it and I would have no reservation in recommending it to anyone.
The staff are kind, understanding and caring and provide top notch care, with a 'nothing is too much trouble' approach.
It is well deserving of the 'OUTSTANDING' Ofsted grading.

My niece has been at the Little Green frog for over a year now, and has just transitioned from Raindrops to Sunbeams. Staff across nursery are so caring and considerate - whenever I drop her off I know she’s being so well looked after. Her development over the last 12 months has come on leaps and bounds and she is always engaged, and challenged, with stimulating activities. The recent Ofsted inspection is so well deserved and is a true reflection of the efforts of all members of staff to provide the highest quality care and early education. Keep it up team LGF!
