Our staff all have a passion for childcare, and share our mission to provide a warm, welcoming and inclusive environment for all. Our staff have a range of qualifications and experiences, and regularly attend training courses and online programmes, to develop and enchance their knowledge and practice.
We have even had several staff members travel abroad to countries such as Slovenia and Sweden, to participate in exchange programmes with early years professionals around the world. We are proud that many of our staff choose to stay with us for many years, and know that this provides an element of consistency for children and their families.

Services
At Bright Skies, we follow the statutory framework for the early years foundation stage. There are seven areas of learning that shape the educational activities that we offer, however we plan these in a way that promotes childrens interests, individual learning goals, and play. We promote these areas in all of our base rooms.
Bright Skies Nursery is committed to protecting the privacy and security of your personal information. This privacy notice describes how the Nursery collects and uses personal information about Employees of the Nursery, Children attending the Nursery and the Parents of the Children, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Can I come and look around your setting? Yes! We encourage all prospective families to come and look around our setting, so that you can see us 'in action'. We do ask that you telephone the nursery initially, so that we can arrange a time that is convenient for you, and that we can ensure that there is a senior member of staff available to greet you.
Our youngest children start in our dedicated baby room. This room is for children from 3 months of age, up until they are showing confidence in walking. Our baby room can accommodate up to a maximum of 9 babies, with a ratio of one staff member to 3 children.
Our baby room offers lots of areas for the children to explore, such as treasure baskets filled with natural materials, a 'cosy corner' for children to use for listening to stories, and a 'messy' side, where we provide a range of activities that promote sensory exploration. Our baby room also has its own dedicated changing area for the children, and a separate area and fridge so that bottles can be made according to individual childrens routine.

I’ve taught my music and movement classes at Bright Skies for a few years now and have got to know Andrea and the teachers really well. They are lovely, welcoming teachers that inspire and genuinely care for the children they work with. The children that attend the nursery are bright, attentive and happy! I look forward to teaching there every week! :)

I have been the French language tutor at Bright Skies for a number of years now, and am continually impressed with the nursery. It is a wonderful place to teach in: I observe children who are content and provided for, and a staff who are kind, fair and caring. In our French classes, the children have lots of fun in a happy and encouraging setting. The staff are always very supportive of the classes, joining in themselves - setting a great example - and supporting children when they need it. Bright Skies is a fun and colourful place, where children's individuality flourishes. It's lovely to be a
