Esscroft Private Nursery

Thanks for your interest in our setting. We are an independent, family owned, early years setting who care for children from 3-months to 5 years. Our Nursery is a very distinctive Victorian country residence, set in 2.5 acres of parkland.

We have been providing quality childcare to families for almost over a quarter of a century and our ethos is to provide a happy, safe and caring atmosphere where children can explore and participate in a new and exciting play activities in a truly unique setting.

Very proudly, Esscroft Private Nursery can boast that ALL of our staff team hold a minimum Level 3 childcare qualification or above! Our staff are paediatric first aid trained and all attend regular training to meet the changing needs and gain further experience in Early Years. Our staff are qualified to Levels 3, 4, 5, and 6 in Early Years.

The room is beautifully bright and airy and stocked full of resources to ignite curiosity for our very inquisitive explorers! A year on, our Baby Provision is led by our Deputy Room Leader and our extremely well experienced team of Early Years Educators. Together, they provide quality learning experiences for our youngest of children through sensory play based around their individual interests.

Our 18-24 month provision is especially for those who have outgrown the delicateness of our beautiful Baby Provision. Our eager explorers enjoy further challenges in Tawny's, where purposeful adult-led activities will help our older babies achieve the next milestones in their development.

The under 2-year provision is a sensory-themed environment featuring bubble machines, light boxes and treasure baskets for our younger children learn through sensory, exploratory play!Our experienced staff team plan for children in accordance with their emerging interests and stage of development to ensure children's interest is sustained and the learning outcomes are achieved!

To meet the needs of our children, we now have 2x 2-3-year provisions which are managed by our Room Leaders. The two rooms are successfully run with the aid of our highly experienced Early Years Educators. Children enables get the utmost out of their learning experience at Esscroft Private Nursery and prepares them for their transition up to Barn Owls (3-4).
