Most importantly we have a school, which is the best school in the universe because we have iPads, laptops, Platinum Sing Up award, Gold Arts Mark, best teachers in the universe, and the best Head Teacher in the universe! We are extremely proud to be an English Hub and a National Support School, which means that our staff have been selected for top roles supporting other schools and training new teachers across the country.

A very warm welcome to Ramsbury Primary School, an OFSTED rated outstanding school, National Support School and English Hub. Ramsbury is justifiably proud of its school which, in normal times, achieves awards in numerous areas including sport and music. During this past year, like schools everywhere in England, the challenges have been immense but our teaching and support staff have done a brilliant job in keeping the school running smoothly.
The Class R team who will be working with your children are Mrs Mayer the Class teacher, Miss Hatherall who works in school from Monday to Thursday and will teach the Class on Wednesday afternoons and all day on Thursday. Mrs Beattie (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) and Mrs Bisley (Monday and Friday) who are our teaching assistants.
Welcome to Class 1. Mrs McCallum teaches on a Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Thursday is PE with Mr Samaras, with Mrs Hinder teaching Thursday afternoons and Mrs Woodhouse on Fridays. During their time in Class 1, children build on their prior knowledge gained in Reception. Children still learn through play in a number of ways and have the opportunity to become confident, independent learners.
