I moved to the area in the same week that George opened his, then one-man, practice. The Avalon has kept some of my cats going, happy and comfortable, for longer than I would have thought possible. Most recently Bert, who, with the Avalon's help, fought his diabetes, kidney problems, arthritis and asthma until he was nearly 20.

Good as ever. Have been taking my cats here for 6 years, even though I now live a half hour drive away. When our oldest cat was ill with cancer, Avalon fought hard to get her the best treatment from the animal hospitals (I recommend Edinburgh Uni Small Animal Hospital too). I believe strongly they treat their patients like their own, although I do question if they hang onto them for slightly longer while they have extra cuddles 🌝 (I'm not complaining, the nurses are wonderful with the animals).
