Absolutely great care taken and fab Staff. My little boys is good and my mind at ease. We all know, it's a great little vet bin with them for 12 years no complaint. But it used to tickle me seeing the Qs outside folks waiting to get in. Lol Sign of a good vet. Covid has killed, that real shame xx

I nearly did not come again to this vet, after they misdiagnosed my dog, and missed an ear infection diagnosing it as a stroke. However the current vetinary surgeon is excellent, and the whole of the practice is compassionate and aware that people are not well off.

My cat had blood tests done on the 17th November which cost me near enough £200 and ever since I've been getting fobbed off when I ask for his results, I've still heard nothing back and we're now on the 16th December.
It's not on at all!
I know he has something wrong with his kidneys but no one will ring me up to tell me what's wrong with him.
I shouldn't have to wait this long for my beloved cats results, I've paid out a lot of money and I've just been ignored, I feel like I've been robbed.

Always loved this vets for over 20 years, no nonsense, no judgement, just kind people, sound advice and reasonably priced. Wasn't sure I would "get on" with the new appointment system as online booking seemed restrictive but a quick phone call got me the appointment I needed, quieter waiting room much better for my nervous little old lady dog🤗

We take our little sausage dog, Daphne, here and she loves it! All the vets and nurses are lovely. Daphne had to have a little operation a couple weeks ago and she was treated so well! She’s all healed again now causing mayhem. We wouldn’t go anywhere else 🐾

I came to this vets as my dog had osteosarcoma and needed to be put to sleep. I chose to pay extra to have my dog put to sleep at home (to relieve mine and my dog's stress). This was not the case. The vet showed absolutely no compassion during or after the procedure for my dog's pain and no sensitivity to me. He treated the whole thing as a cold business transaction. I sent a letter of complaint and had the least apologetic phone call I have ever received. The vet is clearly a very uncaring and condescending man.

AVOID THIS VETS!

Came here reluctantly after my cat got a small problem.
and everywhere else booked up.

How surprised i was to find the old vets had hopeful gone
and my cat was seen by a nice caring male vet.
He even cleaned the poo out of my cat carrier for me.

If he stays then i would gladly bring my cat here as there
should be more vets like him and less of the your
pet comes second money grabbing kind!

The other good thing about this place is they are open on
saturday and sunday and no appointment needed.
unlike other vets who will only see emergencies !

I have been using mount rd for several years and am mostly happy with the service as long as you have a credit card! However last night I went to pick up my dogs prescription as I do every month. They say she has to be reviewed annually just to make sure she is ok on the tablets and there is normally no charge for this, just the price of the medication, but yesterday the vet charged me £23 consultation fee on top of the usual £7.80 for the tablets! I argued that it wasn't a consultation I wanted that it was just an annual review and that I hadn't been charged for this in the past,

Would never ever recommend to anyone. Awful service. neither vet was any help and the nurse didnt know what she was talking about. Our lovely dog died due to them. They squeeze money left right and centre out of you. never again!

One guy (the really happy one) is absolutely brilliant and does what best for your pet and is open and honest. The other guy will sting you for as much as he can (and every test he thinks he can talk you into) and doesn't seem to care about your pet at all and can't even be civil to you

Been there for two years, charged me the earth for flea stuff, which he needn't need. If you love your pet don't bring them there. Couldn't even spot cancer in my cat (that he claimed was healthy lol) and its money for old rope.
