We are a friendly, professional veterinary surgery, situated in Timperley, Cheshire with a highly qualified and experienced team. Our purpose built clinic is designed to suit the specific needs of our clientele, providing facilities such as separate waiting areas for cats and dogs (we can usually find an extra quiet spot for bunnies too).

Services
We offer the highest standards of care at Walker Green Vets. Since opening in 2011 we were quickly awarded the prestigious RCVS GP Accredited Practice - the highest level possible for a general practice. In addition to excellent healthcare, we ensure that the care and compassion we give to your pets extends to you, their family.
We advise that all pet dogs, cats and rabbits are covered by good quality pet health insurance, such as Pet Plan. In the UK, we are lucky enough to have our own healthcare provided by the NHS, as a result many people have little understanding how much healthcare and drugs really cost. There is no pet equivalent to the NHS, although charities such as the PDSA and RSPCA are sometimes able to offer assistance to owners on state benefits.
Recommend us to a friend and we will email you a voucher entitling you to 5 off future professional fees when they use our veterinary services (offer applies to professional fees, and excludes diets, medication etc). Please ask your friend to mention your name and address when they attend the surgery so that we can validate the offer.
Walker Green are open from 9.00am to 6.30pm Monday to Friday, and from 10.00am to 12.30pm on Saturdays. We endeavour to provide services at a time that's convenient for you. However, if your pet requires urgent care outside of our normal hours we have a partnership with with Cheadle Hulme A&E vets who offer hospital status care 24 hours a day.

The vets and all the staff at Walker Green are exceptional and care very much for the animals. After my own experiences I can highly recommend for a 5 star service.
All the staff from reception to the nurses and the vets are caring, knowledgable and were always there when I needed them most, always making time for my cats. I couldn’t have got through the last few months without the help and support from Luke, Ben, Emma, Claire and Stacey.

It was my first visit following a new addition to our family in the form of a whippet puppy. I had booked the vaccination, micro chip and health check package for £80.00. The vet checked over my puppy and was professional but approachable answering my queries. Following the initial consultation I then had time with a nurse (Emma) who again was very helpful answering a lot of questions giving impartial advice. I was very impressed with the whole experience from booking to attending the surgery.

I have quite an anxious dog and I have struggled to find a vet who will take this into account with their interactions with her, I was recommended Walker Green by a good friend and have to say that I have been incredibly impressed by the professionalism and personalised service. This isn’t my local vet but I am happy to drive the 20 minutes extra to ensure there is less stress for both me and the dog! I would not hesitate to recommend this vet to anyone.

I recently took my puppy to Walker Green Vets for major surgery and I cannot express enough what wonderful professional treatment we received, from the initial consultation right through to the aftercare advice. My puppy was treated with love care and attention throughout and I would have no hesitation recommending this practice. A massive thanks to Ben and the team at Walker Green Vets, they looked after our cat, Narla, so expertly, always giving open and honest assessments of treatment options and never ever did they push for anything other than what was best for our elderly cat.
Sadly age and illness got the better of Narla in her 19th year and Ben gave us more than enough time and advice to reach a painful decision.
We cant recommend Walker Green Vets highly enough for the care and treatment of your family pet. Sensible prices and genuine care providers.
