The staff are so helpful, friendly and accommodating, who made it a fantastic trip for our group.
The bar has a fantastic selection of whisky and the kitchen cooked up some lovely meals.
Ideal location for walking into town, to the harbour or along the sea front.
Very highly recommended and a big thank you to everyone for a memorable stay.

I don't know why it has taken me so long to go to the Ardshiel for food, when it has such a good reputation and everybody I know who eats there raves about it. Anyway, I took my wife for lunch there yesterday and it was excellent. A lot of work has obviously been undertaken to update the fabric of the building and the decor, and it is very smart indeed. There are some really interesting whisky displays with some rare and exotic bottles on display. The food itself was really good, both starters were tasty and were presented superbly. We just had big sandwiches after that but they were BIG, and constructed

We had lunch with our friends yesterday and we loved it. Very friendly and professional service. My husband and I are vegans and we were very happy with the vegan options on their menu. The vegan burgers were delicious, tasty and moist. Our friends had a steak pie and caesar salad. They both loved it. Freshly baked scones and vegan ice cream. Delicious meal.
