Services
At The Woodhouse Gardens we have a wide range of spirits, beers, lagers and wines for you to choose from! On your next visit ask your server for recommendations. Our all-malt amber bitter was first brewed in 1828 to satisfy thirsty Mancunians grafting in the workshop of the world. It soon became our most popular beer, and it's stayed that way.

The presentation was on point, but the quality of food was lacking. The lamb shank was moist and tender but the lack of sauce made the lamb taste so bland and flavourless.
The smoked haddock again tasted nice but full of bones in every bite. Staff bought the the food out and left the cutlery and to further add the coke I ordered from tap was flat.
Do I recommend this place: No.

Visited today with my family. It took ages to get someone to get us a drink. My food was a big disappointment, I ordered the roast of the day, but everything tasted like it was re-heated in the microwave, part of it was cold, part was hot, veg mostly raw, it didn't look very appetising when it arrived, everything was swimming in luke warm gravy. The nicest part of the meal was the tiny Yorkshire pudding
They got the order wrong, so we waited 45 minutes for the other meal by which time it was too late because the hunger was gone.
I left nearly all of it, and for £11.50 is was way over priced

After reading some mixed reviews it left me undecided but as we took the plunge. We had the special.. I had a cray fish Marie salad with the beef roast main.. My friend had the soup starter and beef main....
All the food was superb in fact I couldn't finish my main the portions were well sized and generous. Staff were absolutely fine... Lovely meal and I'll definitely be eating there again.. Fab Pub!!! 😊 👍🏿
