Port Street Beer House has been serving craft beer and real ales from here, there, and everywhere since we opened back in 2011. We've got 18 keg lines and 7 cask lines - as well as hundreds of rotating cans and bottles from the world's best breweries to either drink or take-away. Port Street is ranked as the best bar in Manchester according to the people at RateBeer, and we're well regarded by the people on Untappd too.

Three of us visited this lovely beer house tucked away on a side street somewhere in the northern quarter of Manchester. It's the kind of proper beer connoisseurs pub you see popping up in many towns and cities these days where the selection is large and varied and the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable but you have to know where to find it away from the hustle and bustle of the rest of the city! That's all part of the fun though!
It was quite late when we were there so only had time for one pint but I'd definitely visit again to try more ales. Highly recommended!

An other hidden gems 💎 of Manchester. An old style bar on three levels with a lot articles nice painting and pictures. They a good range of beer and craft beers and other drinks. The staff very friendly and helpful to choose your drink. There a lot of seating areas to choose some on nice leather seats.

Very good cask beer bar with great music when I was in. Friendly and helpful staff were able to recommend beers and help with the amiable atmosphere. The bar came highly recommended, and rightly so. Near the shops and transport, but not overwhelmed so as to be too busy.
I didn't sit outside as it was raining. Plenty of room to be socially distant. Cash only when I visited.
Toilets are clean, which is always a good sign.

One of manchesters great craft ale house's, you will not be disappointed with the massive selection of beers and cider. This unique place has a great atmosphere and can accommodate large groups . You can order at the bar or using and app so the drinks are brought to your table. So why not visit port street beer House and experience it for yourself.

My number 1 favourite pub. The variety of beers are always great and most importantly, they're the best beers on tap. The beers regularly change so whenever you go, it's going to be different. The inside looks unassuming but all the people are great and staff are really knowledgeable about the beers. You'll never be disappointed getting a drink here (ever if you're sat at table 8!).

I love this place for having an amazing selection of stouts and porters not only that as you casually make your way through the very well selected drinks with advice from the very clued up bar people you can also enjoy the fantastic bar snacks (although snacks are a little pricy) 😁 great day out. can't wait to go back.
