Review based on the helpfulness of staff when we were in a bit of a predicament. We didn't stay in a hotel room but did eat breakfast. Breakfast was hot and tasty. Thanks for helping us out!

A slightly modernised Fawlty Towers.
Odd run down building, demands to park vans in a different car park van’s can’t even access due to low trees, food on the floor in reception on arrival, chair in the room fit for the skip, room itself is 4 small odd shaped rooms knocked through, fire exit is shoulder height, window in bathroom has no blind and is barely above ankle height, mould on the bedsheets, stains on the carpet, honestly do not book this hotel, it’s horrific!!

I stay here every September for a few nights - great stay as always.
I did miss the evening bar meals not being available this year - but the upside was I actually went in the town centre for the first time in over 10 years of visiting - I hope evening meals will be on again next year.
The "cook to order" breakfast was a great addition - excellent breakfasts.
A great location for my visit - see Y'all next year.

Thank You for your service.
Thank You also for all the improvement work that is happening. Nice to see the gardens and car park tidied up.
Some decent lighting in the back car park will make it feel safer especially as the days are getting shorter

A cheap and cheerful stop over. Room was clean but in need of a bit of an update. Massive TV in the room. Beer was lovely. Staff were friendly. Didn't have any food but a breakfast was available.

We stayed at this hotel for one night. The room was lovely as we had upgraded. But the bed as so hard and uncomfortable that we didn't get any sleep. The restaurant wasn't open so you can only have breakfast from a bag in your which isn't worth the money. The staff where helpful.

The hotel looks a little tired and could do with some money spent on it and some renovations, but the rooms were of a decent size and quality (the pillows were quite flat though).
The breakfast served was really quite nice, and I was very impressed by the waiter who served us, he was very friendly & professional, helpful, and worked hard. Thank you!
