The staff, governors, pupils and parents at Parkside Community Primary School are very proud of our successful school. We have an extensive school site in the centre of our local community.

We are a small school, which allows for huge opportunities for all of our pupils. At Parkside we celebrate diversity and respect all children, regardless of ability, gender, ethnicity or religion. We can offer small classes, set within a caring and nurturing environment. We have a fantastic school site, with large playgrounds, adjoining woodland areas and our own school field.

I am a retired secondary school Headteacher with over 30 years' experience of education within Kent. I was Chair of Governors for Garlinge Junior School from 2002-2007 before its amalgamation with the Infant School. In 2003, prior to the amalgamation of Garlinge Infant and Junior Schools to Garlinge Primary School & Nursery, I joined as a parent governor during the time my daughter was a pupil at the school.
At Parkside Community Primary School our curriculum is designed so each child can develop confidence, independence and resilience. We encourage our children to develop skills that will enable them to make decisions, self-evaluate, and make connections with the world around them. We want our pupils to be become lifelong learners.
All of our vacancies are advertised via the Kent Teach website. Please follow this link and search Parkside, or contact the school office for further information. Parkside Community Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
