There are three qualities we want our school family to be known for (and that includes not just the pupils, but the parents, staff and leaders too!). St Mary's is a Voluntary Aided, Church of England School. That means we teach children about core Christian values and these values underpin everything we do.

These guide us in our behaviour towards each other and influence the decisions that we make. Schools are required to ensure that the fundamental 'British Values' of democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty, mutual respect and tolerance of those of different faiths and beliefs are promoted within the school community.
Services
Whether you are a current member of our school community, a prospective parent, a pupil, a curious teacher or simply an interested visitor to the site we hope that the information provided here gives you an understanding of our vision and values and what we aim to achieve for the children and families of Tetbury.
The vision for our church school is of a caring, Christian community where we light the spark of curiosity, build on individual talents and give people the courage to be the best they can be. St. Mary's Church of England Primary School holds at its heart Jesus' promise of 'life in all it fullness' (John 10:10).
Our school day starts as soon as the children walk into school. We have a Breakfast Club for children which starts at 7.45am serving healthy breakfasts. The children line up on the playground at 8.50am where they are greeted with a big smile by their teachers and/or their class teaching assistant, who lead them into school.
We are extremely proud of our school and our pupils and believe that by wearing school uniform children develop a sense of pride of and belonging to their school, as well as being easily recognisable as St. Mary's pupils. We respectfully ask for the co-operation of parents to ensure that pupils are suitably dressed and thus represent the school and themselves appropriately.
Our Breakfast Club is run by Mr Knight, Mr Deoanca and Mrs Avis from 7.45am to 8.45am each school morning. Children choose their breakfast from a range of options typically including cereal, porridge, toast, crumpets, fruit, yoghurts and beans on toast. They also have the option of milk or fruit juice.
