Injection Therapy normally involves injecting the target area with a hydrocortisone and local anaesthetic. Primarily injection therapy is used to reduce acute pain but also to reduce a chronically inflamed structure that may not be responding to treatment. This procedure is out sourced to a Consultant Radiologist, Russell Young, who operates within our clinic.

All of our Clinician's who perform acupuncture as part of their treatment, hold a post graduate certificate in the speciality. They are registered with the Association of Acupuncture for Chartered Physiotherapists (AACP) or hold a Dry Needling Certificate. Some patients can suffer with feeling tired after treatment or even feel a bit dizzy.
