We went there for dinner, and got a mix grill and a curry don't remember which one and a samosa.
To be honest the food is sub standard.
We waited 1 hour for the food, I was hoping that the wait would be worth it however it was not.
The mix grill was almost cold and some of the meat was clearly precooked before the service and reheated, how it can take you 1 hour to reheat food I don't know, it also did not look appetizing please see the photo.
The curry was decent the rice was ok the meat was a chicken thigh, again reheated they probably cook food in advance before the service, and the sauce

We had booked for xmas day dinner (indian/bangladeshi) for four of us following an exceptional meal for two a fortnight ago, it did not disappoint, again the staff and management were superb as is the varied menu and the food...
We've always liked this restaurant and it's had a refurb again, it just gets better. Good value, stylish but not over the top. Great bar !! If you've not been you're missing out, highly recommended. Thanks for a memorable day guys!!!

Onion bhajis are the worst I've ever had in my life - awful taste and consistency. Chana bhajee (chickpea curry) was absolutely horrendous - no flavour, horrid colour, no sauce just oil. Chicken sagwalla was actually very nice. So disappointing overall as it's our Xmas dinner :(

Was here for a dinner, would recommend chilly Nan and tikka chicken. We for forgot to mention to prepare the chicken as spice so that's why it tasted lil sweet.

Came here while bar hopping with a mate in Stirchley. It was extremely busy and we were told there would be about a half an hour wait for a table, this was no problem as there's a great bar there.
After waiting about 20 minutes we were seated, all of the staff were friendly and attentive.
As for the meals, it's honestly some of the best Indian food I've ever had, keenly priced too!
Get yourself to Kolkata Lounge, it's a real gem.

Came for a family meal. Never been before. Have to say I was very impressed with the food. Tasted excellent and good size portion so worth the price. Inside is very clean and modern. Being a little picky, I would say the service was too fast. We had practicly zero time from finishing our starter to the main arriving. It was so fast it didn't give time to settle. Other than that I would recommend this place.

This is my first time back after the recent refurb and also lockdown getting in the way. I noticed a sign in the window saying they were doing a Sunday Thali for £9.95 so we though we'd give it a try for a change of a Sunday meal. The refurb has been done to a very high standard and they now have purity beers on tap which makes a refreshing change from cobra. As always the service was excellent and attentive.
The waiter explained to us what came with the Thali and what options we could have. I chose to have a prawn dish with mine. I have to say that everything was delicious there were two vegetable

The refurb is something special and the new menu is a bit special too. Still has all your classics on there but some of the specials are amazing. We loved the Indian shepherd's pie! Best curry house on the Stirchley high street for me.

This is a gem of a place in Stirchley. The setting is so pretty with its fish tanks and bubble wall. The bar looks fab with its changing neon surround. The food was delicious and offers a combo curry where you select two different curries to have. I had glass envy that some Indian beer was presnted in. The manager was charming and the service excellent. Definitely a return visit on the cards.
