HAZELS MOTORSCHOOL was established as a Wirral Driving School in and around the Wallasey area by Hazel Oldfield and her brother in 1982. Hazel successfully taught many new drivers and their family members whilst operating as an independent Driving Instructor in a very competitive market.

Become a Better, More Confident Driver by taking a Pass Plus Course in Wirral with Hazels Motorschool (You may also qualify for cheaper car insurance too!) The Pass Plus course is aimed at new drivers and is an established course designed by the DSA (Driving Standards Agency) along with driving instruction experts and leading motor insurers.
Before learning to drive you must be in possession of a current provisional driving licence. The minimum age for learner drivers in the UK is 17 but you can apply for a licence up to two months before your seventeenth birthday. Part 1 - Theory Questions - You will be asked 50 multiple choice questions with a pass mark of 43.

Absolutely loved my time with Hazel's... I picked the driving school for sentimental purposes and I'm so glad I did! I had a fantastic instructor in Ian and I couldn't of asked for anyone better! My lessons were fun and instructive and I loved every single lesson. I'll continue to recommend Ian to absolutely everyone who's wanting to learn how to drive to drive. He's going to be very busy.

Fantastic from start to finish. Learning to drive during a pandemic certainly hasn't been easy but the whole experience was made better by having an amazing instructor (Ian). Patient, reliable & friendly. I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to learn to drive!

I can't thank Hazels motorschool enough. My instructor Jeff has been amazing.
From the start i was a very nervous pupil with no confidence in fact i was scared to death! Jeff has been a very understanding and supportive instructor. I have no doubt i have been one of his most challenging pupils. I have had "i can't do this " moments quite a few times during my lessons but Jeff always believed i could do it. I would urge anyone who reads this and feels like they would like to learn but are lacking in confidence to have a try with Hazels. Honestly try them, stick with it even when you have a bad

Having spoken to both National Motor Schools and One Man Bands I was so impressed by the sheer professionalism of Thea, the Owner, who took my call. She listened carefully to my requirements and promised to get back to me same day with a plan. This she did. I went on to take a course of lessons with Alan and duly passed! How refresshing to deal with such people, they really did care. A Big Thank You to all at Hazels !

Hazels are amazing. My wonderful instructor got to know how I like to learn and taught me in a way that was helpful and fun. This wasn't my first attempt at my test but Jude was fantastic and helped me with my nerves. She was there every step of the way with my test and I couldn't be anymore grateful
