Roos are the youngest children within the nursery, they are the younger under 2's and tend to more to the next room around 16-18 months. Bourton on the Water Day Nursery Ltd is run and managed by Hazel, Hazel has 2 children herself, both active little boys.
Services
Roos are the youngest children within the nursery, there are soft carpeted floors, perfect for crawling and floor based activities and adding a little comfort and a 'home from home' feeling to the room. There are 2 rooms available for the younger children, one is kept calm, and relaxed, perfect for naps and the youngest of babies.
The Kangas are the older under 2's. Children transition to this room when they are a little more mobile and able to cope with a busier environment, begin to become more independent and when their love of exploring hits new levels. In this room the children develop important early skills such as, problem solving, using cutlery, open cups, and a little bit of sharing!
Tiggers are a lively bunch of toddlers! Children generally move into Tiggers around the age of 2, however this is flexable and will depend on each child as an individual. Liz heads up our Tigger room and works alongside a truly dedicated and motivated team of girls, Shannon, Gemma and Paige, these girls work so well together.
The Biggies room is all about practicality, therefore have hard floors for craft, games, and activities. There are plenty of mats to soften the feel of the rooms and allow children comfortable areas to sit and play. The Biggies is welcoming and well equipped with educational toys and games to prepare your child for starting primary school.
Hazel has worked in 3 settings and has 18 years experience with all ages. Hazel has a BTEC ND in Childcare, DBS, Pediatric 1st aid and 1st aid at work, total communication, safeguarding certificate and is the nominated DCPO and health and safety representative for the nursery she holds safer recruitment and in 2017 she gained her level 5 in Management.

Absolutely wonderful team of caring individuals who look after all the children in their care. My daughter loves her 2 mornings a week at nursery and is always tired out from all the fun afterwards!

Our son started in January and absolutely loves his time at nursery. The girls who work there are wonderful and adore our boy and he always comes home happy and smiling . couldn't ask for better.our questions always answered and always happy to work with us to provide the best for our baby. I think if he had it his way he'd stay at nursery 24/7!

Hazel and the team do an incredible job of entertaining, developing and most of all caring for all the tinies entrusted to them. I could not be happier with how flexible and wonderful they've been for our whole family. The support they give to two fairly clueless new parents trying to juggle work and a now 4 month old has been invaluable. Our daughter adores her time at nursery and I know will more and more as she grows and is able to join in even more fun activities with the others.

Our daughter has been going to the nursery for just over a month now, 3 days a week! She loves going... So many activities to do, better food than I can cook! And all the staff are lovely... She spends a lot of time with two lovely ladies who take very good care of her, and she's always excited to see them! Lovely play areas and garden too. We are very pleased so far... It's put my mind at ease about leaving her (as hard as that is!) thank you :-)

Having moved from London and been underwhelmed with the child care options there, I can not recommend this nursery highly enough.
Hazel and family (as well as Julie) have turned this unloved and huge building into a fun-filled and educational environment which my daughter loves! On top of the usual and copious array of toys and books on offer,… there is a great soft play room, an indoor /outdoor play area with AstroTurf, a resident rabbit and a vegetable patch.
In addition the owners and staff do an incredible, non-stop job coming up with themes and activities as well as loads of messy and
