We are a small nursery school in the centre of Charlton Kings, which has been established for over 60 years. We take children from the age of two years-old up to school age. The Nursery School is a home from home where all children are valued and their opinions are listened to, providing a learning experience tailored to each individual.
We pride ourselves on working very closely with parents to make sure that your child is happy, healthy and achieving their full potential. At The Nursery School, we have eight curricular aims which we work towards with our children. These aims are ambitious and designed to challenge the children, allowing them to leave us as a holistically developed individual.

Services
Our staff have many years of experience in early years and we have two designated members of staff which hold SENCo qualifications to ensure that any children who need extra support as a result of learning difficulties are cared for in the most effective way for their development. Two members of our staff are Designated Safeguarding Leads should any safeguarding issues arise at The Nursery School.
We understand that parents have busy lives and cannot always fit in with sessional hours so we pride ourselves on our ability to adapt our day to fit in with family life. Children are welcome to nursery at any times throughout the day, whenever it is convenient for you to drop off and pick up your child.
We look forward to sharing our happy, homely environment with you. Here is some information and tips for you and your child/children during their time at our nursery. Your child will be allocated a key person, based on which member of staff they seem most comfortable with, who will be responsible for monitoring their development and looking after their well-being.
