The staff work hard under difficult conditions but since the departure of a wonderful Manager, it is as though the home has become invisible. Absolutely no information is shared with families even when Covid infections occur. One discovers that they are back in shutdown only when calling to request visitation. If this review was purely management, I would award it one star at best.

Dont apply for a job here.
I had an interview and was told I had passed the first round and should wait a week to here about the second interview. When I called to enquire about the second interview, HR said they job was pulled, no longer any job available . I feel so angry about this after going through the whole job process.

Morris care has high standards but at the end of the day it is down to the carers that are on duty at the time, sometimes its very good and others can be obnoxious. Its like that at most care homes and call bells can take a long time to answer, it will in my experience never be right all of the time.

My mother in law went into this care home for palliative care. She was there for just over 3 wks and developed wounds on her feet from swollen legs (not homes fault) but then we had to get a ambulance ourselves to take her to hospital with swollen hot hand and crying in agony as Morris care staff wouldn't ring ambulance. Anyway at hospital they removed her bandages to check wounds on feet to find maggots all around her wounds and toes. The nurse had just dressed her legs before she left for hospital. TWO days later my mother in law passed away from septasemia from wounds on her feet the death certificate

My mom went to this care home for not quite 4 weeks. She had a terrible time she would press the buzzer for help and it took between 20-30 minutes for help to arrive. My brother and I had witnessed this ourselves clocking the time each time we were there. She was in for palliative care and passed away from septecimia and maggots in her leg wounds that had supposedly been looked after. Beware of care home.
