Cae Melyn Group Home is a Care Home for younger adults with learning disabilities. The Home is registered and inspected by Care and Social Services Inspectorate Wales (CSSIW). We found that people using the service are treated with dignity and respect and are able to exercise preference and choice in most areas of their life.

People are supported to take part in meaningful activities of their choosing and have the opportunity too contribute ideas which may have positive outcomes for themselves and other people using the service. Physical and emotional needs are addressed in a timely manner by caring, suitably qualified staff.
Services
We aim to help you to maintain your own independence. Often something that may seem trivial can be an invaluable aide; for example a grab and hand rails, special cutlery etc. We will work with you to identify and overcome any problems you may have or assist with things you find very difficult to do.
Cae Melyn is fully centrally heated providing ten bedrooms (three of which have ensuite facilities), three bathrooms, modern fitted kitchen, two spacious lounge / dining rooms and a residents' activity room. These are provided in all residents' rooms, toilets and bathrooms so that staff can be quickly summoned in an emergency.
Cae Melyn is a small residential group home for ten adults who have learning disabilities. We aim to maintain a friendly caring residential home, which is staffed adequately to cater for the residents' needs. We are aware that the Home's staff will always play a very important role in our residents' welfare.
We encourage our residents to lead an active, varied life style and to join in community social events, wherever possible. We believe a busy schedule adds meaning and motivation for our residents, and for this reason a stimulating programme of events is essential for each resident's personal development.
Our Home is rated most importantly by our residents and their relatives, it is inspected and regulated by the Care and Social Services inspectorate Wales (CSSIW). We undertake an annual quality assurance survey asking our residents relatives, staff and visiting professionals for feedback on the service we provide.

Nice enough place but parking is at the bottom of a steep driveway though there are spaces at the top but very small. Staff very helpful and residents seem happy enough.
