Take away - odd system of raffle ticket once ordered and told to stand outside to wait for order. Stood for over 30mins in rain!!! Surely there is a better system under current restrictions?

I am now writing this post, as I have had it in mind to do so since visiting on Sunday 19th Dec 21.(Apologies for a delayed write-up, but I have not had opportunity over the hectic festive period).
Whilst driving to North Lincolnshire from my home in the South, my elderly mother and I both felt ready for a comfort break.
Assuming McD's / KFC etc, may be our only options on a Sunday evening we headed into Gainsborough to see.
Surprisingly we saw the lights on at 'Adams Bay' Fish and Chip Shop on the A631 / A156 roundabout and thought a bag of chips would do nicely.

1st photo was last time 2nd photo this time large cod and chips 1st time huge fish and to many chips to eat this time LARGE COD and LARGE CHIPS crammed into one box and squashed down don't think chips would have made small portion very poor

Very lucky I don't live near this, as I'd be a regular visitor and I'd never stick to my diet.. tried the lunchtime mini fish special, deep fired Mars bar and a chocolate orange shake. Top marks

Fabulous fish and chips! The food was hot and tasty. Our waitresses Beth and Emily were friendly and helpful. We were a bit sceptical about the battered chocolate orange but what a treat! Good value for money too! Looking forward to our next visit. 😊

Came here for my husbands 30th Birthday and it was fabulous. The staff were very friendly, very helpful. The food was delicious. All 4 of us (Myself, Husband, and 2 children aged 4&6) were stuffed.

Revamped and stunning!
I thoroughly enjoyed this new look restaurant with adjoining fish and chip bar, it combining both ease and class with a surprisingly good array of food options.
New decor makes you feel in a swanky establishment meanwhile also has great priced food of a high standard and quality - my family loved it, deserves 6 stars really !
