Just back from a long weekend there. Absolutely a lovely site and pitches are nice and big. Fantastic site with the wildlife and lakes and bonus being the onsite Cafe/Restaurant, Shop and Clothes shop such a lovely added bonus. Staff was lovely and friendly and the restaurant in fact everywhere is lovely and clean. Was so lovely waking each morning to the views of the lakes.

Took a long detour to get here on the strength of a good review elsewhere. When we arrived were told quite rudely that they couldn’t seat us or give us any food because the kitchen were too busy.
Two staff in the background seemed to be having a disagreement. Our kids unfortunately were really hungry, so we ended up finding a supermarket to buy sandwiches. I wouldn’t come back

Lovely and friendly service, but few downsides. There is a £2.50 charge if you want to share an adults meal. i asked whats the charge for its apparently for the cost of bringing and taking and washing the additional plate. im sorry but i havent seen that anywhere in my whole life of dining out experience in the uk or overseas. in my opinion its ridiculous. plus the quality of the sausage in sausage and mash felt quite bad. more fat and weird cheewy bits rather than actual meat...so all in all average food, weird charges but lovely service.

Restaurant was great and food was superb. It also provides camping, so we stayed on the campsite for a couple nights. This was very clean with good sized grass pitches with electric and water hookups. The fishing lakes were nice but I think £8/day if you are already camping is a bit unfair. Should be included or be cheaper for people staying over. Only one toilet and shower but shower clean etc and decent size/suitable for family use. Overall a lovely place and we will be back soon.

Very clean and tidy. Tables are very well spaced out making it feel very safe. Staff wear visors or masks. Lots of open windows and a choice to sit outside too with umbrellas for shade if you prefer. Service is very friendly and with a smile. Lots of choice in the menu and some great daily specials. Food is homemade and looks amazing. Plenty of parking. Great little shop, good for buying any gifts. Lovely views over the lakes too and keen fishers can pay to fish in the lakes.

Lovely restaurant / cafe / farmshop / playground for kids
We walked from Daneslake.
Plenty of parking space.
Very nice lunch and a decent price for the quality.
Sat outside as it was a little busy inside. We had fantastic views of the lake. And service was faultless with all the staff very friendly and approachable.
Small play area for the kids too.
Will definitely be coming back.

We love this place. Visited regularly before covid and pleased to say this place is just as fantastic and so pleased to see them back. The food is amazing, highly recommend the afternoon tea and the staff are the best you can get, friendly, polite, great service - they are a credit to the family business. An absolute must for a visit (with a few takeaway treats from the deli - you won't find a better scotch egg!).
