Mum had to go to Wilmslow shop as she is diabetic and had to have the diabetic testing, she ordered a new pair of glasses, which after 3 weeks hadn't arrived. Bearing in mind you have to pay up front for them, two weeks later we got a phone call, glasses are ready, but the hadnt put the reactalight treatment on which was noticed straightaway. £60 more to pay, three weeks later get a message glasses ready, get there and the varifocals hadnt been fitted to the new glasses, the glasses are no £360 instead of £160. ABSOLUTELY RUBBISH SERVICE. Never using again

I have been going to the West Didsbury branch for years and always been happy with the service. However, I have had two negative experiences at the Cheadle branch and it is not child friendly at all. The first time, we had come straight from school and the children were desperate for the toilet and they would not let us use them but told us to go to Costa instead. Today, my daughter had an appointment there and as we went in, my child who has ASD took a pair of glasses off the display. The receptionist shouted 'No' at him. Completely inappropriate reaction to a situation that could have been handled
