Contact lenses are a wonderful option for any situation, whether its a social or sporting occasion. We have a range of options and solutions to help whether you are long-sighted, short-sighted, have astigmatism, and for those more mature starting to struggle with your near vision. If you have never worn contact lenses before, it may seem a little scary.
Myopia is the medical term for short-sightedness. This means objects in the distance become blurry, and this typically starts to develop during early school years eg aged 6-16 years. Unfortunately we can't cure myopia, but for children of school age, there are a number of techniques we can use that slow down it's progression.
