The Hallmarking Act of 1973 is a way that you can be reassured when you are buying something in a precious metal, be it platinum, gold, silver or palladium. At the time of manufacture, it is independently examined by one of the U.K.'s Assay Offices to verify the levels of the precious content and hallmarked accordingly.
The chart here is also displayed in store, and explains the different aspects of a Hallmark. Our personal Hallmark is registered with the Sheffield Assay Office but we do also sell jewellery with the Birmingham and London marks.

Dear I'Ansons, thank you so so much for all your time, patience, advice, guidance and expertise with regard to the wedding rings and attendance gifts we purchased from you. Our rings are perfect, we both love them and my bridesmaids loved their charm bracelets. We loved the personal service we recieved from you and will definately recommend you.

Absolutely amazing service, after getting engaged Christmas day, the ring was too small I have rang everywhere trying to get it sorted but it was a month wait, after speaking to the lovely staff I tuck my ring in on the 29th and they called me on the 30th as it was ready to pick up.i apologies I can't remember the lady's same who delt with me but she was fantastic. I can't begin to tell you how thankful I am, the ring looks absolutely perfect the whole service was outstanding, highley recommended. I will definitely be using again.
