India Mahon cares deeply about ethical issues which is why all her custom jewellery is handmade using Fairtrade gold. But what exactly is Fairtrade gold and how does fairtrade certification make a difference to miners, their families and communities? For Fairtrade gold, miners receive a guaranteed Fairtrade Minimum Price and Premium to invest in improving their business or in community projects such as education, clean water and healthcare.
Care for your handmade jewellery as you would care for your cat - with love, care and protection. Containing no oxides, gold is the only precious metal that will not tarnish. Having said this, it is a relatively soft metal and care should always be taken with your gold jewellery. Generally, the higher the carat weight, the softer the metal; due to the alloys used in 9ct gold, it tends to be more resistant to scratching than 18ct or 24ct gold.

Delighted with the bespoke ring Nikki made for me. When I asked her to make me a wedding band I had a vague idea and she has brought it to life & in her beautiful contemporary style. I wanted something timeless and I know I will love this ring forever .... I highly recommend! All her work is stunning

Highly recommended by a close friend, India remodelled some rings I hadn't worn for years. Her expertise, patience and calm attitude was invaluable. I had an idea and she developed it, India's designs were true and accurate so the 'real thing' was just as I imagined. I'm over the moon and now have a ring I love which I can wear anytime. India included an insurance valuation which was vital. I wouldn't go anywhere else and like my friend I would highly recommend her.

This is a one of the best jewellery shops in Harrogate probably in Yorkshire and the lady who runs it is so lovely and helpful - i couldn't not leave a glowing review. I recently bought my wife an amazing necklace from India Mahon for our wedding anniversary gift, she loved it - she said it was the nicest thing I'd ever bought her - thank you - i'll be back for more soon.

A brilliant jeweller with some amazing modern jewellery, a perfect place to pick up the most beautiful and unique earrings, necklaces and bags, shoes and even clothes from India Mahon's collaboration with YBD. A must see when you're in Harrogate - their is something for everyones price range too - love this store.
