Breakfast is served in our attractive dining room with individual seating and table arrangements for your privacy. Enjoy a good selection of quality products, freshly prepared and cooked to a high standard served in a relaxed friendly atmosphere. Full Cumbrian breakfast of: Bacon, Award winning local sausage, Free range eggs Hash brown, Fresh tomato and mushrooms.
Windermere Steamboats & Museum is located on a former sand wharf site where, for many years, barges unloaded gravel dredged from the bed of the lake. When this operation ceased in 1975, the Windermere Nautical Trust acquired the use of the site and the Museum was built in 1976-77 with the help of The Maritime Trust and the English Tourist Board.

Thank you very much for our 4 night stay, everything was fantastic! Breakfast was delicious with plenty to choose from. We felt very welcome from the moment we arrived and wish we could have stayed longer in our lovely clean and cosy room. You were fantastic hosts and it was a real pleasure to meet you. It was absolutely amazing. If you are looking for some where to stay in the Lake District, this is the place you want to be. The service is impecable. Excellent customer service. They pay attention to your needs and the place is spotless. If you are looking for a place which is clean and wholesome this is the place for you. They clean the rooms everyday and provide clean towels for each day as well. Breakfast setting is lovely and the food is great too. I would recommend this place to everyone.
