I had early morning flight from Manchester with my wife and kids, so booked this taxi from Wigan to MAN airport for 05:30. Just to be safe, 1 day before travel called on phone provided to double check if registration exists. Gentleman on a phone found my registration and assured everything is OK. On the next morning, I waited till 5:40, no taxi. I called again, and was shocked - "we tried to reach you by the phone but unsuccessfully, ride is canceled". Obviously, my number was entered correctly and phone wasn't switched off.
The only reason I managed to get to my flight is that uberXL was nearby

Not what it used to be. I remember it being a premium taxi service a few years ago but I booked two taxis for an event recently and the one there turned up 20 minutes late and I had to direct the driver to where I wanted to go.
On the way back the driver said I hadn't paid for the taxi even though I had prepaid. He then threatened to drive us back to the depot to sort it out. Obviously we didn't want to do that so just had to tell him to let us out in the middle of nowhere.
If you're considering booking I would just book an Uber instead. Awful.

Rude staff avoid this place and over charge people. Take you long way round taken advantage off drunken women and people on the village who come to have good night out not drama. Not lgbt friendly at all all they care about is wage package 📦. Don’t Care about the customer and rude customer service when lost my phone they did nothing

Booked a taxi a few weeks ago from the aiport, after I didn't get a confirmation email I called from the airport and was told a cab would be dispatched ASAP.
A few minutes later, I got a call back asking me to go outside. Didn't see anything/anyone so kept trying to call and eventually they answered and told me they cancelled my booking and to just "order a new one from the booking office". (at 23.45 alone in the dark!)
Appalling service and would not use again.
The Street Cars branch at the aiport is much better, the guy who was working was super helpful and found me a taxi pretty quickly after

Used to love this firm, used them loads during my uni days and even recommended guests at our wedding to use them. However things have drastically changed. I booked last week for a taxi 5:50am to Piccadilly Station. I then confirmed the booking a couple of days prior to the booking date to make sure it was definitely in their system as I needed to get to the station to catch a train to the airport. They assured me it was- fantastic thought I.
However on the day 5:50am came and went. At 6am I ordered an Uber which came promptly and ensured I just about caught my train. At 6:20am I received a phone
