Lunch was had for the first time here. You could choose from a reasonable selection or two courses for £15. Food itself was hot and a reasonable quality. Service was quiet good, but one of the waitress trousers were covered with food (an apron would be a good idea).

Ishka is simply amazing! The cosy stylish environment, the beautiful cocktails and the perfect food really was a highlight of our Wedding!! We had a small wedding at the castle and had our wedding breakfast at… Ishka for 32. Claire and her team went above and beyond to ensure that our day was perfect, setting up beautifully, helping to pick our own menu and even setting up our cake for us! We decided on a package were we were welcomed with Prosecco and then had a three course meal with tea and coffee after. Communication with Claire was perfect and easy, she really understood the relaxed

I would start saying that we got a itison voucher and we went the 1st time and we were told we could not use it, so we paid the full price and average feeling, although the girls were nice. Now second time, same voucher... I called before hand and advise we were going with voucher , the person who took the booking never mention about booking online or how it worked, ( we were working in restaurants with the same voucher and we accepted people poping in as long as they let us know in advance, ie booking g over the phone, and you can redeem the voucher without booking on the website as the waiter

I went here last night with my friend. We didn't book a table but got a place, good for a Friday night! We ask for starters, we both liked it. The mains were good though my vegetable lasagna was a bit dry and didn't come in the dish were it's cooked. My desert with chocolate mousse was lovely. My friend asked for the marshmallow one and didn't like. Great experience in general and I will come back to try the fish.

I went here after work with my colleagues. I had booked a 5pm.co.uk deal for a 3 course meal and a cocktail. The food is modern but delicious. We all had different starters and would recommend them all - goat's cheese salad, mackrel pate, ham hock terrine. For main we all had a steak which was cooked to perfection. Mine was medium well, the others medium rare. For desserts we tried the chocolate mousse and the sticky toffee pudding. Only the sticky toffee pudding required more toffee sauce as it only came with a dribble. The cocktails are strong but good. And they offer a range of wine. Would definitely
