Kirby Muxloe Golf Club
We have been here since 1893 and our golf course offers a serious but fair challenge to golfers of all abilities with excellent greens and our fairways are a joy to play from. We have excellent practice facilities with a covered driving range, short game area with chipping and putting greens.

Our Professional's shop is well stocked and presented, with lessons available to all and our clubhouse allows you to relax in the lounge or restaurant, both of which offer lovely views across the course. There is an excellent and varied menu for you to select from and we are happy to cater for any special dietary needs.
Services
Our lovely, mature parkland course in the village of Kirby Muxloe has been in existence since 1893 and has an abundance of natural features. The course measures 6444 yards from the blue competition tees, visitors will normally play the course from either the white tees at 6292 yards or the yellow tees at 6074 yards.
NB The ball is not now permitted to be dropped on the opposite side of the Penalty Area NB Within the course all streams and ditches are Water Hazards whether containing water or not. That part of any bridge WITHIN the bounds of the hazard as defined by red stakes or markings.

Relief is available without penalty if a ball lying off the Putting Green within two club lengths of an immovable obstruction that is, in itself, within two club lengths of the Putting Green, has intervention on the line of play.A Player may only obtain distance information by using a device that measures distance only.
If a mishit shot is heading in the direction of other people, you must shout "FORE!" in a loud voice to alert them of possible danger. Players should not strike a golf ball when there is the risk of endangering other players, members of the Green Staff and all other users of the golf course & its surroundings.
Kirby Muxloe Golf Club aims to maintain the highest standard of dress both on the course and in the clubhouse. To achieve this all members and visitors are expected to observe the requirements of our dress code below. Members, their guests and visitors who fail to observe the Dress Code will not be allowed access to the golf course.
In those days it was described as ". a very fair inland green and in summer little inconvenience is experienced from long grass, the turf being for the most part of good golfing character.". The first Clubhouse was situated where the large bungalow is situated at the top right hand side of the field beyond the car park gate.

Waste of time and space - very unprofessional - will tee off elsewhere.
Don't bother going here, you will be disappointed.

Great course with greens that are fast and true but not sure if it's worth £50 a round. Nice food in the bar. Friendly and polite staff.

We had an excellent day’s golf at KMGC on Thursday.
It started with a professional and warm welcome from the Pro Shop that continued with the catering and bar staff.
The course was in fantastic condition and superbly maintained.
This was our first time at KMGC and we will definitely be returning!

Thank you Ben you did us proud! To satisfy 13 people is no mean feat! Everyone loved the place, and who wouldn't. The views are wonderful from every window, the staff very friendly, the food first class what more could one ask for? We were surprised the place wasn't packed out. A golf club is not usually the place that first comes to mind when going for a meal out but believe me you won't be disappointed. Try it.....

We are talking about the restaurant, NOT the golf side of the business, as good as that maybe.
The food and the service was first class. This was our annual lunch of our Hiking Group of about 50+ and the staff coped very well. The public was also dining at the same time, without problems. Highly recommended.
