Amore Ristorante E Pizzeria
At Amore, we love everything to do with Italian dining. As a matter of fact, it's no accident that 'Amore' is the Italian word for love. By the way - for any non-Italian speakers out there - this is probably as good a time as any to let you know, Amore has three syllables. If in doubt, check out the song "That's Amore", which was performed by Dean Martin, among others.

The purpose of this all new 'news' section of our website (oh, and welcome to our very first news update!) is to keep you abreast with everything that's going on with our two Italian restaurants in Glasgow. From here, you be offered information about upcoming special events, as well as information relating to our menu and even information about Italian cuisine in general.

Went tonight for a special occasion for a table of 11 and it was one of the best nights we've had in ages! The food was all amazing. And the service from all of the staff was exceptional. They couldnt have been more accommodating and made it a night to remember. Definitely will be going back. Fantastic value for money and so much variety on the menus.
Highly recommend.

My favourite restaurant so although I might sound biased, everything about the place is just so good from food to service I cannot fault it. Highly recommended 🥰

Was always a huge fan of Amore, was always reasonably priced with two and three course deals to suit. No longer, understandable and I don't mind supporting companies to get back on their feet. The quality wasn't the same, I left pretty disappointed which is a real shame. Has lost its soul a bit for me.

Had a great meal here today. Food was delicious and all the staff were excellent. I think your staff made it extra special. Staff were very helpful and dealt with any request well, plus still made time to talk to us. I'd recommend this place to anyone.

Superb Italian restaurant. Large authentic menu. Family owned business, they truly care about your opinions and will do their best to ensure your visit is perfect every time. I’ve never had a bad experience and I’ve been many times.
Their stone baked pizzas are a must try!
Pastas are always bursting with flavour.
Remember to leave room for the deserts and coffee, you will not be disappointed!
All staff are very friendly and attentive.
Service is fast and accurate.
Prices are very attractive for a city centre restaurant, and the lunch time menu is a steal!
This is by far our family favourite

Food was lovely. The meatball starter was amazing. As were the jalepeno poppers. Meatballs were better, then you see the lasagne in the pic. Again it was superb. As was the pasta amore. I can't wait to go back. Can't fault 1 thing.

I really like Amore, the food is consistently good and the service is pretty good too. My only problem with Amore is on a Friday or Saturday night. They cram as many bodies as they can in the place and it becomes very claustrophobic and hard to actually move your arms to eat your dinner. Way too many tables in this place in the evenings and to me that's it's only downside. I would think they would prefer to provide the diners with a nicer dining experience rather than trying to make as much money as they can by making the diners feel uncomfortable. Overall though this is a very good

First visit with some friends and I'm sure we'll be back.

It was 6.30pm and packed so I'm glad we booked. The tables are also packed in so it is quite noisy but once seated you don't feel crammed in, more like the place has a buzz about it.

We all had a main & dessert both portions of which were huge and everyone enjoyed their dinner. Strangely the waiters came over during the meal every so often to check we were enjoying it but were nowhere to be seen when it came to paying.

As only two of us were drinking it was good to see they do a 1/2 carafe as that was enough for

Well my review is simply based on food I haddock it is not an exhaustive am overall review.
Based on service it was good staffs very friendly and responsive. I have Minestrone soup, fish and chips and Tiramisu.
Minestrone - 5* probably the best I had until now.
Fish and Chips - 3* it is my mistake to eat fish and chips in a Italian restaurant. It was a bit on dry side.
Tiramisu - 4* wonderful

I wasn't sure what to expect when I found out we were going to Amore. I did my usual and had a peak at the menu before hand and thought I have no idea what to order. We had starters in another restaurant is was straight in to our mains. I had pasta with chicken and broccoli. It was perfect and everything I would want in an Italian meal, washed down with a Peroni.

I always think it's a very good sign if a place busy and this place was jumping not an empty table in sight. Right now you are probably thinking oh it must have been a Saturday night at a prime time! No you are Wrong! Wednesday

The food here was lovely (which is why I was torn between the 4 or 5 star), and was reasonably priced. I had the vegetariana pizza, which had a great balance of vegetables and cheese, while the base was, to my taste, expertly cooked.

I visited here on a Saturday evening, and it remained very busy throughout. I'm not sure if how busy the place was was the reason for this, but trying to gain the attention if a waiter was very difficult, taking 3 requests to receive the bill and having difficulty in ordering more drinks, even though we were close to the bar.

The atmosphere here was great, and

We had a bad experience last Saturday. The restaurant was very busy and we were given a table that was in a space too small for four people. We complained and were moved. The waiter mixed up our orders for both starters and main course with other tables and one of our main courses was missed out altogether, meaning that the other three had to start eating while the other waited for his meal to be cooked.

This was unfortunate as the food was very good. Perhaps one of the problems was the very extensive menu which must be problematic at busy times.

First time visit to Amore & it did not live up to the good things I'd heard about it.

Our starters were lovely - hot garlic & chilli prawns & mussels marinara. The prawns had a really nice spicy sauce whilst the mussels were big & plump. The big disappointment for me came when our starters finished.

Literally 5 minutes after our starters were taken away, our mains were brought despite saying on the menu they needed 15 minutes to cook the pasta. Both pasta dishes were relatively bland. The prawn linguine stated it had a hot & spicy sauce but instead it was a typical

I've been to Amore on more than a few occasions now so I thought it was about time I gave it the review it deserves.

Mostly we have partaken in the Early Evening Menu from here which is served 7 days a week, 4pm - 6:30pm and this is £9.95 for 2 courses. From the first time we ever came (not long after it opened) to this day this menu has never disappointed. Always delicious, tasty and well portioned meals for a great price.

On the last occasion I had the chicken liver pate with toast & chutney for starter & my partner had the Italian nachos ~ both were lovely. For mains my partner

When the world seems to shine like you've had too much wine... That's amore!

I have been here a few times now; on a double-date dinner, and a few lunches with classmates. Every single time our servers have had an Italian accent. So I'm assuming they hire servers on the basis of being Italian, looking Italian, or can pull off an Italian accent... eh? eh? eh?

It's a pretty standard Italian restaurant with a variety of offerings. Food was fresh, and you got what you paid for. Service is attentive and friendly. They do a 2 course lunch special for about £6... you can't beat

This is a cracking wee authentic Italian restaurant.

It's lovely inside, especially in the evening and is the perfect backdrop to a romantic meal.

The lunch menu is reasonably priced, where otherwise, it is a bit expensive. But, you get what you pay for.

Everything about it is authentic Italian, including unpronounceable meals on the menu and Italian waiters who actually know what they are talking about and take pride in their work.

I had the best steak I have ever had in a restaurant in here one night after my graduation. It was immense. So tasty. I wish it was a magical steak that wouldn

One of the larger Italian restaurants, it houses quite a range of items on the menu making it an ideal place to eat with fussy friends, family or large groups.

There isn't anything spectacular but it is a decent restaurant and you get a lot of food for your coin. I would usually try and order anything but pizza in an Italian restaurant but I found they're pizzas to be surprisingly fun and was tempted by what was on others plate. As has been pointed out they offer to courses for a tenner.

It depends what your looking for in a restaurant but I suspect that for many this will fit the bill
