I am an accredited member of the British Association of Counsellor and Psychotherapists (BACP). I provide a calm, safe and supportive environment for you to explore whatever you choose. I work mainly with women and with a huge range of issues, including anxiety, depression, panic attacks, bereavement and workplace stress.
Fees for supervision are 50 for a 60-minute session with concessionary rates for charitable organisations and counsellors starting up in private practice. Penny has helped me through a difficult time in my personal life, during which I've made some big decisions and changes to my life. In a few weeks I have managed to do what I have been trying to do for years.

Services
I provide a calm and supportive environment that is confidential and private. I have a positive, constructive approach to counselling and work both long and short term. I offer one-to-one, face-to-face and online counselling for adults. Sessions are 50 minutes long and can run from six sessions to six months or more.
I apply different aspects of my training and counselling experience depending on your needs. Taking a person-centred approach (which means I follow the pace and needs of the client) I listen closely and am non-judgemental. I offer support and understanding, in a non-critical way, and can help you to explore areas of your thinking and behaviour where you may be experiencing difficulty.
I am based in Bishopston (BS7), in north Bristol, near to Henleaze, Redland, Cotham, Horfield and St Andrews. I work from a calm and private garden room (photographed) situated a few minutes west of the Gloucester Road. I offer a free initial consultation of about 30 minutes, enabling clients to meet me and discuss their needs.
I am a qualified supervisor, with a diploma in counselling supervision. I offer supervision to counsellors - both to trainees and to those who are trained and working in organisations or private practice. I also provide supervision to frontline workers in charities and to health professionals. I really enjoy supervision.
