I stayed here with my partner for two nights. The "Hotel" is not fit for purpose. We felt like the only guests. There were a lot of other people there in the unfortunate circumstances as asylum seekers. Asylum seekers should be afforded their human rights for a safe environment to stay. However, for a hotel to operate within their facility is unfair on the asylum seekers and the hotel guests.
Lobby/lifts are always busy with participants going up and down with the meals they are handed in the reception. There are about 50 bikes locked outside the hotel.. maybe some bike stands would come in use

Basically a immigration/refugee centre. Stayed on the 4/11/21 . We have stayed before whilst working in the area. This year we pulled up and the car park was empty which seemed strange. At reception there was various check in desks and notices in every language posted on the walls. It soon became apparent it was a holding center. This should be stated whilst booking. I strongly recommend you avoid the place. If it was not for the fact a work colleague booked I would have left. We both looked for other accommodation but nothing near was available. Absolutely disgusted at the behaviour of some of

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! Myself and my entire family stayed at this hotel Thursday 11th November and Sunday 14th November.
Our stay was an absolute nightmare. The hotel has a strong and unpleasant smell between the corridors. There is only 1 pillow per bed. The AC did not work correctly. The water pressure in the shower is absolutely pathetic. The restaurant is closed and we were not allowed to even eat in the hotel lobby as guests!!!! This is a rescue site and there is no mention on this on the website either. I think you’re doing a great job by housing refugees however there should be a mention

Don’t even waste your money staying at this hotel. Only writing a review because I was fooled by pictures and when arriving at the hotel, it was completely different. Outdated and weird smell, very weird atmosphere, not clean! I booked originally for 2 nights and cancelled the second night with a refund of £69 and left the same day I arrived as I simply did not want to stay there!

Booked by work for myself and colleagues.
The website does state that the pool, leisure facilities, restaurant and bar are all closed. But I have to be honest this was missed as it is one line when you scroll down on the website.
The rooms were serviceable, but not 4 star quality or condition by any means.
I'm not 100% sure, but believe the hotel was operating as some sort of refuge, it most definitely didn't feel safe or secure.
All in all it was an uncomfortable experience, I was reluctant to stay and very uncomfortable leaving my car in the car park.
Whilst I only had to stay one night

Can't really fault it. We were there for an evening Punjabi wedding reception. The entrance is to the rear of the main reception. Canapes were served at the rear terrace. Due to events being delayed, we were outside for nearly 2 hours. To be fair, it was a lovely evening and a great opportunity to mingle and catch up with family after lockdown. The hall was well sized for the number of guests and the catering was brilliant. One of the best weddings I've been to in a while. The venue contributed to that experience, as did the DJ and the families having a good time.
